Dash Of Honey is a new Houston based baking business derived through the love and desire that Faith Ards, 21, has had a passion for since her childhood.
Ards was not like most kids that like to play outside, considering her free time was spent inside with her dad practicing cooking and baking skills.
“My dad was a culinary arts student, so growing up I would always cook and bake with him, but eventually I drifted to the baking side; I would do that during my free time at home as a kid. I started experimenting and trying to do things from scratch and it would be funny because it would come out bad, but my family would support me so much and eat and just smile,” Faith Ards stated.
Faith decided to put her talent to a taste test by starting Dash Of Honey October 2022, creating the name and logo of her own business!
“I love it so much why am I not growing it,” expressed Faith.
Without intending for Dash Of Honey to turn into something so fast, Faith tested making white chocolate covered strawberries, admiring her well decorated strawberries she posted them to her personal account on instagram and immediately began to get requests for chocolate covered strawberries.
These chocolate covered strawberries were such a hit, she made festive Valentines and St.Patricks chocolate covered strawberry boxes.

Faith creates many other tasty desserts such as cakes, cupcakes and chocolate covered pretzels.
Ards commented on how she created a princess cake for her niece’s 5th birthday.
The cake was a phenomenal two-tier cake that everyone at the birthday party was able to enjoy, but most importantly the birthday girl loved her well embellished princess cake!
Faith’s journey of getting where she’s at today has been long, and a lot of commitment with her being a fulltime college student at the University of Houston.
Ard's extraordinary journey has just begun as she plans to expand her business in the near future saying, “If I had the money to buy a small space to lease out right now I would.”
The newest challenge for Faith’s future in her business is creating liquor infused chocolate covered strawberries, which she plans to have her required material in for the infused chocolate covered strawberries within the next week.
